This beautiful commissioned piece was created to adorn a marbled coffee table. As the surface of the table was already colored and patterned, we chose a caramel, soft clay that would compliment the marble’s nuances without clashing with it. Being positioned low, the vase will most often be seen from above, which is why the neck was ruffled out to create layers and dimensions within the piece when seen from above.
