Kurinuki Espresso nº2
This dainty espresso cup was hand-carved using the kurinuki technique, a method by which layers of clay are removed with the help of a potter’s knife to reveal the piece and create a rough, uneven texture resembling natural rocky formations. The cup was made using a white clay body upon which a mix of different colored slips was applied.
The interior is evenly glazed, the cup is suitable for everyday use.
