Iron Cast Platter
This beautiful piece was created using a mixture of dark and light clay bodies and subsequently half-glazed with transparent glaze. The contrast between light and dark, with the slight shimmer of the glaze give it its characteristic yellowish, iron look. The piece was handmade using the coilbuilding technique.
